These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of carolinedunham.com and to coaching services purchased or booked through this website. By using this website or purchasing a coaching service, you agree to these terms.
1. Coaching Services
Dr. Caroline Dunham Coaching provides professional one-to-one coaching designed to support reflection, personal growth, identity, decision-making and meaningful change.
Coaching is a collaborative process. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, crisis intervention or medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not guarantee any particular result.
2. Coaching Agreement
Purchasing or booking a coaching service through this website does not replace the Coaching Agreement provided as part of the client onboarding process.
Before coaching begins, clients may be asked to review and sign a separate Coaching Agreement setting out the terms of the coaching relationship in greater detail. If there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and a signed Coaching Agreement concerning the coaching relationship, the signed Coaching Agreement will govern.
3. Booking and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due according to the terms shown at checkout or otherwise agreed in writing.
Coaching sessions are typically 60 minutes unless another duration is specified at booking.
Appointments are arranged by mutual agreement and may take place online or, where arranged, in person.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in cases of illness, emergency or other exceptional circumstances, at Dr. Caroline Dunham’s discretion.
5. Coaching Packages
Where a coaching package is purchased, sessions are intended to be used within the timeframe specified for that package or otherwise agreed.
Unused sessions may expire after that period unless otherwise agreed in advance. Coaching packages are for the individual client and may not be transferred to another person without prior written agreement.
6. Refunds
Coaching sessions and coaching packages are generally non-refundable once coaching has commenced.
Exceptional circumstances will be considered individually. If Dr. Caroline Dunham is unable to continue providing prepaid coaching services, unused prepaid sessions will be refunded or an alternative arrangement will be discussed.
7. Client Responsibility
You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and outcomes arising from coaching. Coaching supports your thinking and development but does not replace professional healthcare, mental health, legal, financial or other specialist services where those are appropriate.
Coaching is not an emergency or crisis service.
8. Website Information
Every reasonable effort is made to keep the information on this website accurate and current. Website content is provided for general informational purposes and should not be considered professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Content on this website may be updated, changed or removed from time to time.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the written materials, exercises, resources, graphics and other original content provided through this website or as part of Dr. Caroline Dunham Coaching are owned by Dr. Caroline Dunham and are intended for personal use only.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, published, sold or used commercially without prior written permission.
10. Privacy
Personal information submitted through this website or in connection with coaching services will be handled with reasonable care and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Dr. Caroline Dunham Coaching does not directly store your complete payment-card information.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to services, business practices or applicable requirements. The version published on this website at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase unless otherwise agreed.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
