Frequently Asked Questions
-
Coaching is a collaborative conversation designed to help you navigate change with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. Rather than offering ready-made answers, I help you explore your situation, uncover what matters most to you, and identify meaningful next steps that feel authentic and achievable.
-
I work with thoughtful people navigating significant life transitions, including:
Identity and life changes
Career transitions and questions of purpose
Returning to work after time away
International relocation and intercultural adjustment
Motherhood, caregiving, and changing roles
Personal growth, uncertainty, and major life decisions
If you’re unsure whether coaching is the right fit for your situation, you’re welcome to book a complimentary Discovery Conversation.

Every conversation is different because every person is different.
Together, we’ll explore what you’re experiencing, clarify what’s most important to you, identify patterns or obstacles, and consider practical ways forward. Sometimes that involves thoughtful questions, reflective exercises, or structured frameworks. Other times, it simply means having the time and space to think deeply with someone who is fully present.
-
Every coaching relationship is different, but clients often describe my approach as thoughtful, calm and collaborative. I bring curiosity rather than judgment, structure without rigidity, and practical reflection rather than quick fixes. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported and gently challenged as you navigate change.
-
Therapy often focuses on understanding and healing psychological distress, trauma, or mental health concerns.
Coaching is future-focused. While we naturally acknowledge your past experiences, our work centers on where you are now, where you’d like to go, and how you can move forward with greater clarity and intention.
If I believe another form of support would better meet your needs, I’ll always tell you honestly.
-
Not at all.
Many people come to coaching because they don’t have all the answers. Feeling uncertain, stuck, or pulled in different directions is often exactly why coaching can be valuable.
You don’t need a perfect plan before we meet—only a willingness to explore.
-
I won’t tell you how to live your life or make decisions for you.
Instead, I’ll help you think more clearly, ask meaningful questions, challenge assumptions when helpful, and support you in making decisions that genuinely reflect your values and goals.
-
The complimentary 30-minute Discovery Conversation is designed for exactly that purpose.
It’s an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what you’re navigating, answer your questions about coaching, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit—without any obligation.
-
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients come with one specific question and benefit from a single Strategy Session. Others choose a coaching package so we can explore a transition over time. During our Discovery Conversation, we’ll discuss what feels most appropriate for your goals and circumstances.
-
Most coaching sessions take place online via Zoom, allowing me to work with clients wherever they are.
Depending on location and availability, in-person sessions may also be possible.
-
That’s completely okay.
The Discovery Conversation is as much about determining whether coaching is the right support for you as it is about getting to know one another. If I don’t believe I’m the best fit, I’ll tell you honestly.
-
You’re always welcome to get in touch. If you’re unsure whether coaching is the right fit or which service might best meet your needs, I’d be happy to answer your questions before you book.
